Dream In Color Competition

About The Competition        

         The Dream In Color Art competition is based off of Purposed 414. This is a platform created by Miss Greenville County Teen 2016, Michaela Parker. The primary goal is to educate young students about their purpose. To enter the contest, artists would need to design a coloring page based on the 4 Points of Living a Purposed Life.  The top 12 entries will be posted on the Purposed 414 blog and distributed to young students throughout Greenville County. Dream in Color is also fundraiser to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network. All entries should be scanned and sent to purposed414@gmail.com and a 5 dollar donation to Children’s Miracle Network is required and should be sent to PO box 14862 Greenville SC 29610. Checks should be made payable to Miss Greenville County Pageant. The top prize winner will receive a cash prize of $35.

Regulations

All Entries must depict a scene that represents at least one of the Four Points Of Living A Purposed Life. These four points are as follows:

1. Do the Best with the gifts and talents that you have to serve those around you.

2. Dream Big!

3. Chase those dreams.

4. Encourage others to do the same.

These drawings should resemble what would be found in a coloring book, meaning that they should be black lines that can be colored in by young students. Drawings can either be made by hand and scanned into an email or can be created digitally and sent in by email. In the email please be sure to state your first name and last initial, grade level, and school name.

Please keep in mind that these drawings will be distributed to local elementary school students and should be age appropriate. Drawings will be judged on clarity, representation of The Four Points of Living A Purposed Life, and over all artistic skill. The top twelve entries will also be posted on the Purposed Kidz section of the Purposed 414 blog.  Underneath each winning picture will the first name and last initial of the artist as well as their grade level and the name of the school that they represent. The entry with the highest score will be denoted as so on the blog and will receive a $50 cash prize.

IMPORTANT:  All entries must be an original work and not copied from anyone else.
